Ban out of nowhere

So today I was in a room with my brother, the room was locked with a password so my brother and I could privately play 1 vs 1.

Suddenly I got disconnected from the server.
When I tried logging back in I got a ban for just over an hour (1h 5m)

Now I don't mind not playing for an hour.
However I don't want my honorable soldier ribbon to be affected by this.

I would like to have some things clear about the ribbon.
