Hmmm I didn't Farm them, but you can Farm Crystals very quickly by playing a Game of Death Rally and then joining Final Arena and just die(if you have enough points for the Crystal Crate or whichever crates you are farming for).

Like I said earlier the crates where bugged when the map 1st came out, then they fixed it.
