Recovered my account
Well I got my account back after my password changed mysteriously.. I'm trying to figure out how it happened as:
- My passwords/emails/etc are not stored on my PC
- No old friends or clan mates have information to my account
- I have an antivirus, keep my PC up to date and scan it
The only clue I have is the IGN was changed to USS*Revenge and my account is now in USA*Forces...
I'll try and stream soon but my college starts Monday!

Any Nadebot's or other programs that may have key logged you but not have gotten away Successfully because of you not having your information stored? Also i suggest you change your email address considering they may now be after it trying to get in and get the account. and LOL doesn't surprise me USA*Forces has several scammers.

I remember months ago I tried playing on a CF Private Server because curiosity drove me to try it as its just something I had to do. I have the email and password changed
Reset your computer then change your associated email and password for both email and CF accounts.
Yeah I made a new email with a new password and my account is secure with new information as well.Wait college? Thought you were in high school!?!?
Running Start - Dual enrollment so I get to be at the college getting credits while in highschool. Whats nice about it you ask?
- Tuition is free aside from textbooks or underlevel classes (Algebra 2
)
- Less classes, more mature students and serious environment, great campus with games, lounge, etc.

I never won any new guns but it does seem the guy spent some zp as there is some nice temporary weapons like BC-Axe and mutation items. -
That's likely how it happened, pirated version clients have keyloggers and once you actually play your computer can be infected with anything. It's likely that everything you've ever done on that computer is compromised. You should wipe the computer and reinstall windows, after you've done that change every password and security question/alternate email security access for every account you've ever accessed from that computer. If you've used credit or debit cards for online purchases from that computer you should get new cards from your bank and/or change your bank account numbers.I remember months ago I tried playing on a CF Private Server because curiosity drove me to try it as its just something I had to do.
If you recovered your CF account through support tickets the scammer likely has all the info you submitted to support and if the scammer attempts to use that info to "recover" your account the support team will likely conclude that your CF account is fully compromised and lock the account so no one can use it. -

This is most likely how you had your account compromised, especially if it was ARX. Definitely scan your computer with something like Malwarebytes to remove the keylogger if you haven't already. It would be a terrible situation if that keylogger was still tracking information.
Either way, congrats on recovering your account. It's beyond me how someone from that clan had your information though. Perhaps there's another way your account got compromised. -

the only way to clean your pc now is to Format it.....anti virus means nothing.... and you maybe login to some website and you got infected.. -

I took precaution by scanning my pc with malwarebytes.. It detected a lot actually so now my pc will hopefully be more safe. Yeah I'm really shocked that my account would be in that clan. I've changed information on a lot of my accounts but the only thing they have gone after is my cfna account. -

They probably think a NA account is more valuable. Also if it has like couple BM guns they would probably sell your account to someone else to earn free cash. Sadly it happens.
