If X-Trap is getting stuck while downloading, I suggest you delete the X-Trap folder which can be found in the CrossFire Folder. And then start CrossFire again.
If the problem still occurs, I suggest you turn off your firewall or anti-virus since it might be blocking the download. -

Get notice that using windowsXP could trigger Xtrap and get a permanent BAN.
Windows XP is no more supported even by microsoft - so all Xtrap updates not support anymore WinXP !!!
Upgrade your PC and go use Windows 7 !
P.S. If you are still wanna use Windows XP - any future bugs, errors etc. due to you windows will not be fixed anymore by Z8Staff - also if you get a permanent ban because WinXP - will not be removed !
