Lag Animations

everytime i see someone with an axe or a shovel, i attack first.
im close to the person that i'm going to kill and i don't see him attacking (because of attack animation lag).That time im thinking"tbh, i think i can get this guy".
but when i think of that, i get killed by him because i didn't know he clicked the mouse due to animation delay.I'm just annoyed that i always get this.
(correct me if this does'nt make any sense to you or if im in the wrong forum)
