Try this at your own Risk but it works

*Open CF Folder
*Copy Version file to Desktop
*Open Version (desktop one)
*Change 1204 to 1205 save (desktop)
*Right Click Version file (click Property) and Tick Read Only click OK to close it
*Then Copy that Version file from Desktop to Crossfire folder (replace old one)
*done click Crossfire update should start

even it said read only check if that file say 1205 sometimes goes back to 1204 needs to be changed to 1205 check or redo it many have done this using this fix method

ive check many times it always says that it's 1205 but the error kept coming up

sometimes work and sometimes not
we need a patch fix for this

This needs patching ASAP. Happened to me last night I followed the procedure and it worked but I try to come on today and have to repeat the whole process again. -.-

strange mine works fine today

and 99% of those who followed it correctly works fine no need to redo it every day Did you have to update again, Cause mine is fine no need for update again
