Don't take them too seriously, most people criticize others just to distract themselves from their own shortcomings. Very active is not the same as post farming.
Active: On the forums most of the time, answers questions and joins discussions.
Post farming: Is typing useless posts all the time hoping to get a higher post count. That includes replying to every single thread with pointless posts.
Yes, its annoying, but at least he isn't trolling.
