Failed to connect to server

Everytime i log into the client, and wait for the game to load, I get a popup that says, "Failed to connect to server." I've played CF for a long time, and never had this issue. Currently, I have to download Hotspot Shield and set the connection to another country, in order to play. However, it's very laggy, and eats up my internet speed. Is there a permanent fix? My in-game name is kullz

I had the same problem and I also used Hotspot Shield, but the game never got laggy. Dont set the connection to another country, use a place in your home country only. Despite using hotspot shield, I have a decent ping of 40 - 50 in game.
