Razer Mamba question.
Hello, I was just wondering if changing the polling rate on my razer mamba from the default setting of 500hz to 1000hz is bad for my computer and could potentially ruin my usb connection. I just heard this could happen but I would really like to use my mamba to its fullest
ps. I only use my mamba wireless so... tell me what you think guys
thanks- iBeast*

I wouldnt change the Hardware settings of your Mouse, but if you expect a better gameplay ability, go for it

But if your mouse is new, you know, you stop any warranty possibilitys you got from the Manufacturer if you modicate these kind of Stuff at your Mouse. -
I use 1000hz as well with no problems,i dont see how it could mess up your usb ports though,i'm sure razer would have had a few lawsuits on their hands by now if that were the case, also if your gonna pay for top spec equipment like the mamba, you wanna be squeezing every last drop of performance out of it imo,the only problems i have had with it,is occasionaly it cuts off for half a second or something, but its no biggie......me wuvs my mamba lol :P

Ok, when your doing that softwaresided, thats another thing. Then its not a big dealoh... I should have said that I changed it by using the option it gives in the razer mamba driver you download off the site
Enjoy your smoother gamplay
