Gamma/Brightness keeps resetting

So, I'm a huge GM player and lover. I recently got back into the game but it seems that I'm playing on like 50 gamma/brightness all the time now since GM is so dark that I can't exactly see correctly. I have gamma set to 95-100 which should be very bright, but it just resets back to normal.

I set my gamma to 95 or something high in the settings press save and for only a second my gamma turns very bright but then immediately goes back dark even though my gamma may be 95 in the setiings..
