i started playing again on my acer laptop with windows 8.1 whenever i exit the game it still leaves the crossfire game open and i still leave it there 5mins and still wont get off my screen so i have to restart my pc. is this with all windows 8.1? or is there a fix? please let me know.

yeah,
fix= use 32 bit version of windows
or if you don't want to use 32-bit instead of 64-bit,Close the game by using task manager,end task "Client MFC 32 bit version".
