It appears that a recent Windows 8.1 update is causing the interference. Please check if you have installed "Update for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems (KB3000850)" (Name may vary for other Windows versions) and uninstall it for the time being.

Got the same message... Please do the following:
1.Go to z8 games folder
2. Crossfire Folder
3. find patcher_cf and run as administrator.
thats what i did... it worked

I don't have that update Celestine... ( Update for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems (KB3000850) ) What do I do??
