Crossfire is downloadable on MAC.
Lot's of people have been asking this question lately and most people reply back with a "No, you can't download CF on a MAC." and well, that's incorrect since you actually can.
I've quit CF for a couple of months now and I'm glad I did since it was clearly ruining my life, I also bought an iMac and i'm not even thinking about returning to playing that game again.
but since I found a way to actually get it on my MAC, I'll share it with you, here you go:
To install CF on a MAC, you first have to buy a Parallel Windows for your MAC, which can be purchased from Apple stores or any other electronic stores. Parallel windows is a tab that can be opened from your MAC to change it into a windows computer (it fully functions as a windows computer) and you can also close the windows parallel whenever you want to. After you setup and install the windows parallel, you open your browser FROM THE PARALLEL TAB and simply download CF normally, it takes the exact same time & speed to download, I've tested CF on my iMac and I get around 150-170 FPS which is actually great.
WARNING: DO NOT DOWNLOAD A CRACKED VERSION OF THE PARALLEL WINDOWS ON YOUR MAC OR YOUR PC WILL EXPLODE. (Not really but just don't.)
I hope this was helpful, cya.

It doesn't work on a MAC, you said it yourself.. It works on the windows os, not the mac. -
X-trap does not allow users to run CF in a VM because many people use VMs for malicious purposes. Parallels desktop is a VM and I'm surprised that X-trap allows it. Z8 recommends Mac users to instead use BootCamp for running CF in a Windows environment; as stated in their FAQs here: http://support.z8games.com/crossfire/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/58/4/can-i-play-cross-fire-under-mac-oslinux
