Win 8.1 - Random crashing with no error

CF seems to crash about every 30-45min (it's random) with no errors. Game closes and then PC desktop appears. It has been happening for maybe 6 months. Happens in game, in storage, or in lobby.

System is Win 8.1, running AVG Free, AMD FX-4300 Quadcore, AMD Radeon HD 7700 Graphics.

I have recently tried a different antivirus and also reinstalled the game after the last patch...still crashes.

Is there a known fix?

Just to let you know, AVG isn't the problem because that is what I've been using for the past 3 years. The only type of errors I get, while in-game, everything shuts down and I see a blue screen with a sad face and saying something like "we're collecting info". I just force shutdown and restart...

I get Blue Screens of Death like once a day, that's bout it ;D
