Is there a way to turn it off? or has it been turned off already by the DEVs?

the old version of the cf game engine had mouseaccel built in. however, a few patchs back they removed this. If you are feeling mouse acceleration it could be caused because of your mouse's firmware or windows implementation.

just to clarify, there is now no mouse acceleration built into crossfire?
