even if i play from march 2009 , just a little after this game appeared i have only about 8 mil exp, i don't really understand how can some guys have 25 mil or more

maybe they are looking to offload a whole lot more vips so people that care about new character can rank up quicker.Lots of people will buy into that as well.The smilegate coffers will be swelling nicely. -

Yeah this is true.. Back in time it was nice to see a highranker.. Everbody try'd to add that person.. Farmers like.. SiX? ADIGA and Y0unGStaR..

114 million exp. but im not proud of it. (I would like to reset it to captain)
Im proud that i can play normal.. And i never look to the top 100 again.. Becouse its not nice anymore..
I want 2009-2010 back that ADIGA was #1 with 26 mil exp.. and #100 was a lt colonel...
But people like hjonkler with his 300 mil exp.. If i were a admin i would resset those top 100 ranks. -

Not even annoyed that z8 are rewarding farmers for their hard work, more peeved off that its another female character
I guess the farmers feel to manly with their high ranks so the new char will balance that.. -

I don't know why everyone believes this To be honest. Not everyone farms, Only the lazy people who will achieve nothing but a new logo. If someone plays and achieves marshal legitimately their combat skills will be pretty courageous. It wasn't implemented as a farming achievement but as a long-term goal for people to achieve and have achieved since CF release.

I myself don't care about farmers until I find one of them with poor skills QQ about lower ranks that are better than them. Z8 stance on farming is that farming is ok as long as 3rd party programs aren't involved. I don't farm but I'm glad z8 pulled this move because ranking needs more rewards, for a long time only reward was gp and everyone got them.

The average rank in CF has gone up, when the rank system was introduced, over five years ago, it looked exactly like it does today - with rewards and such.
And nobody really believed that anyone would reach Marshall.
Obviously the rewards have to change, and every requirement adjusted to account for this.
With >100 people farming their way to the top, a reward is appropriate cause it is the top after all.
Now I'm not sure rewards for people who camp in locked rooms every day needs to be the primary focus of an update, but that's how it played out. -

Well, the new character gives an experience boost as well, so perhaps it's to encourage more farmers to buy more VIP? Smilegate is all about that profit margin. -

Why would someone want an exp boost after reaching it? -
They added stuff after Marshall now, didn't they? I can't really see a point of giving all those experience boosting items for Marshall, unless you can use them at the lower levels of Marshall rank.
I don't really know how this new system works either way. I'm only like half way through Lt., so moot point to me! -
I don't really care if people farm. Go nuts. I don't know how you do it, it must be boring as hell but whatevs, doesn't affect me any. What's funny is that z8's stance on farming has always been that it's not against the rules but it IS frowned upon. But now items specifically for Marshalls are released and I think we can all agree that it's VERY unlikely any Marshall got there without farming.
So yeah, z8: "Farming bad. Here item for farmer" That's pretty hypocritical.
On the other hand: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ who cares?
