Error, som functions of the operating system has been corrupted

i just installed CF on my (freshly installed) windows machine ( 8.1 pro N )
the first time i ran it it worked perfectly fine, but then the client crashes/force-closed randomly, and since then every time i try to open cf it launches to the login screen and there i get an xtrap error saying some functions of my OS are corrrupted
i checked the common error messages list but the error code i have doesn't seem to be on that list

ya i have same problem. I've tried opening ports, re-installing, disabling antivirus , disabling firewall, turning off automatic updates ect.

LOL. Just wait for a few days. Its not you. Its the patch. They kind of test the patch directly on you kids (I guess that saves them money). If too many people have issues, they will then fix it. Just wait for a few days. Try some other games till then.
