To make things clear Game Booster does not affect your ping in anyway.
It affects your FPS (Framerate Per Second).

Now, there are specific things you must not close for example: things related to microsoft, etc.

some computer it won't help like if your computer is running at it's max than a game booster is worthless but it could help
