crossfire wont load

hi i keep getting the same error message about 10 seconds after the client has started, could anyone help ?
the error code is under x-trap:
code field: 08-0400-00000000-539
some functions of the operating system has been corrupted.please, close any program which is affecting game client and restart system.
and i dont have any program open and i have retarted still doing it ?
