people cant read ingame names
SOOOOOOOOOO..... i have noticed that players, tend to slaughter my ingame name when they start hackusing me.... I find this funny... but odd, i mean,,, the name is right there infront of them... Im all about shortening it for speed sake, but to completely miss spell it?
and to do it to such a degree that it is phonetically different.?
have u guys seen this? i am assuming it happens more with none english speakers.. but i am still confused cause the name IS on their screen..
my ign is Rendorazor.... same as my forum name... phonetic is RENDO-RAZOR

it has gotten to the point that my clannys in vent call me RENOrazor. sense that seems to be most common...
wondered if it was a common prob, and thought it would be funny to see how badly other peoples ign get messed up...

This happens to me ALOT! and not just in game, My IGN is: Tris10000 but people always misspell (and mispronounce my real name)to:
Phaggot
Bollock head
Kant
Wannker
Idiot
Ignoramus...the list goes on
And dude, my clannies have started doing the same thing they only call me Kant now. (I think it's after the philosopher as i often drop mind bending knowledge on there collective asses). -

Happens to me all the time!
I get Saidan, Sadin, Saladin, Satan, Saiden to name a few.
Never understood the phenomenon myself. -

simple four letters... and i have the same problem... ppl mix up and put in any order they like
i guess they dont realize it means SMOKER, vowels out!!
i have a friend who does that a lot... he doesnt read the actual names, he makes up a similar funny one and goes with that... and i must say i laugh a lot with the names he makes.
BTW... pitbull is the favorite dog of the jiu-jitsu fighters here in brazil, so they must think you are one of those, matte! -
Ingame name butcher is just for the laughs.
I have a real east prussian family name and nothing is worse to get such things butchered in real life like in ur tax returns or other official forms or even holiday cards from ur friends.
Or worse if u go on holiday urself in foreign countries.
Just try to spell it: Willuweit
If ur not common with german it tends to be hard

yeah,, the reason people call you anity is cause they are old school gamers... Back in the day we used brackets to seperate our clan tag from our name.. sense most games had not intergrated a clan id system into the games. for instance,, long ago in the quake 2 world i was [xtr]Rendorazor as in rendorazor of the clan extreme. so they must be thinking the is a clan tag and not part of the name...
personally i lol at people who use brackets in their names... (and yes, my clan leader does this) because i know that more then likely do not know the origins of it. -

lmao i know about the bracket clan thing, yet i cant do Sanity, its taken. I'd expect most people to know the ingame clan system doesn't use brackets.
