Did the breath of ghost become softer or did my headphones broke cause it used to be like a bit louder. Or am I just high again.
Back when 2012-13 it was a little louder i think
Back in 2010-11/12 I used to pinpoint ghosts directly (possible because I was using speakers which doesn't make sense), now I have to spray a little using headphones. -

Im using Skullcandy Skullcrushers at the moment, such terrible headphones for music but with some EQ adjustment and taking the battery out of the sub woofer (its 2014 and it requires batteries wtf lol) it can be ok for using for gaming. -
There is a noticeable difference in the volume and range of ghost breath in the last year or so. I've been playing ghost mode since march 2009 and so have watched a great many changes during that time. I have some suspicions about some of the macro programs not being detected by x-trap and have researched the you tube videos that show VIP injector's with buttons like no breath and other variants of altering breath or delaying it. It was even pointed out a few patch's ago that ghost sounds were delayed and they were fixing it in the coming patch. That all said, a good bunny hopper can approach you quickly enough and kill you before you hear them and then slip away. When you know you are playing with that caliber of player you have to occasionally pre-fire obvious directions as you enter new areas and play more conservatively. Breath down, quality of headset and noise pollution are also definitely factors to be considered. Remember, not all skill is hack even during an epidemic such as we are having. If the game mode is important to you: do your research, get the gear you need, keep your nose to the ground and grind away until you hone your skill.

Do the obvious and make sure all of your settings and equipment are up to snuff.
Follow that with a friendly 1v1 against a friend. Have them fight you somewhere open like mid in nightfall. This will take out the back ground noise and eliminate the tanking macro hoppers seem to have. They like to tank even the ak , they also seem to no breath you more often making you think sound is messed up. Then review the replay to see them hopping up a railing, off someone's head then carry on down the corador with out restarting their hop once. -

Haha i never seen a macro bhoppper but idk how to spot one but are they the ones that bhop up the stair up the rail down the crane into the window down the stair up the machine with 100% fabulous jumps? -
BD keeps on changing ever few months or so, even changed the distance it can be heard from comapred to normal breath. Breath lag is here again and has been around the last 2-3 patches. Macro hoppers have breath lag and you won't hear it until they stop bhopping, hence why you randomly hear breath really loud infront of you from out of the blue and you die, not even a warning just BANG and they're there like a teleporter already in Stabbing Action, but it's macro (or lag of course). Welcome to GhostMode.

Nowadays BD is 2metres difference to normal breath, yet normal breath sounds louder and further away than what it really is, and then Breath Down sounds quieter but further away than what it really is (tested 2 patches ago, dunno if it's different now I hardly play GM anymore).I can barley hear them now i used to use 65 and hear breath from gr base to mid of laboratory with bs ghost now I can barley hear them -

people underestimate bhopers. Lot of players that don't know me call me macro bhoper while I believe macro bhoping is just a myth pro pp's made to kick out pro bhopers. -

But macroing has never officially been deemed a hack. Seriously though, take 2 minutes of time and you tube it and you will see page after page of it. I'm somewhat inclined to think that you already know this but I hesitate to make that assumption and will just conclude you were surprisingly unaware of a common issue... -
I play Ghost mode occasionally. I've never had any problems with pin pointing, but like dot said there is a item that allows you to breath down and there is also an item that allows you to down the foot steps.
Ik that play ghost mode 2 year straight xD i mean maybe my headphones broke or something or just the beath turned lower -
No it is a real thing, not a myth and has been here since CF started it's just at a more intense level than what it once was.people underestimate bhopers. Lot of players that don't know me call me macro bhoper while I believe macro bhoping is just a myth pro pp's made to kick out pro bhopers.
