Couldn't set to 800x600x32 mode. Shutting down.

any idea how to fix it? Whenever I join a game it crashes when in the loading screen. Happened 5 times in a row, but sometimes it just doesn't happen.

Started 2 days ago, happened 3 times, didn't happen for the rest of the day.

Didn't happen yesterday at all.

Happened 5 times today.

Suggestions?

So 8x6 is a resolution you actually have it set to or..?

yes, I just tried changing it to 1024x768 or whatever, it still didn't work, but the error message stayed the same.

edit: also tried to change the bit from 32 to 16, same error

Restarted my comp, cf is working.

I'm still seeking a permanent solution to this, it hasn't happened to me at all in 5 years of cf.

whats your out of game resolution?

Maybe try playing around with that.

Yeah, I think this is what I did when it happened to me.. match CF resolution to desktop, or desktop to CF.
