It says I have some files corrupted this is an XTrap Error it says I need to close whatever program that isnt letting me run crossfire.

I have nothing running but crossfire and it says this. Any suggestions?

    Make sure your firewall and/or anti virus isn't blocking it.
    I'm thinking more the firewall since the anti virus would have messed with the install not after the install, I might be wrong though. Still double check they both have cf as an exception

    Or just turn them off while playing CF then remember to turn it back on. (Not the recommended option)

    Also there is a lot of issues going on right now with CF/xtrap that might be causing the error. So it might not be on your end at all and just a bug with the client itself.
    Still a good idea to just double check all the possibilities though. :P
