Hi guy's i installed new version of CF:i open it then it say's "Failed to download version.ini"
I don't know why.. but i saw version in crossfire folder it's empty

i wanna play and please help me.

My bad, I totally misunderstood what you said.
You meant that your version.ini file was blank when opened in notepad?
If so, then try copying the following text in your version.ini file:

[VERSION]
LatestVersion = 1167
MinimalVersion= 1120
OwnVersion = 6

[DOWNLOAD]
server1 = http://cfpatch.z8games.com/download/

[SERVER]
COUNT = 1
IP1 =67.210.208.133
PORT1 =13008

[HGW]
PORT=16666
SERVER1=67.210.208.161
SERVER2=67.210.208.163
POD1=50
POD2=50

I'm not sure if this helps, since there are differences between users' version.ini files.

The problem usually occurs when the patch client. To combat to go before you do the following:

You go to the folder Z8Games Crossfire> and you can try this:

Deletes the folder and start with the Crossfire version.ini "patcher_cf" possibly as an administrator.

Make sure your Anti-Virus isn't blocking anything.

Try doing the same thing again and this time after saving it, make your version.ini file unwriteable.
If this still doesn't help, reinstalling the game is the only solution coming to me atm.

My version.ini is empty when i lunch the patcher it says Failed to download version.ini i tried but when i type this update and lunch the patcher the update desappeared

Delete your entire Cross Fire/Z8 directory, and re-install it with your Anti-Virus disabled.

My Win7 is not English, so I didn't know the expression I wanted to use. Now I looked it up.
Do the same thing again, then make the version.ini file read only. If you do this, cf can't delete its contents.

I'm glad it helped. Next time when there is a new patch you will have to add +1 to the number after LatestVersion. This may be tomorrow.
