Best crosshair?
Type A
Type B
Type C
The reason I'm asking this is because I have changed back and forth between these 3 for the past of years. After using Type A for a year on my old account. Once I made my "Smoke1" account I asked people I play with often which one they use the most, and thats when I notice most said Type C was the best. So I started using "C" and everything was going great. Then I notice that my crosshair would jump off the target even if you are still aiming at them. It have been so many time I avg 76-97 damage will aiming right at the enemy.
For the past couple of days I have decided to use Type B, and it's kind of weird how better the hit detection for type B. I have been able to get so many HS with this one. It also seem like your aim stays on the target instead of canceling your hit markers like Type A and C would do for me.
Have anyone else notice this situation with the crosshairs? Also with Type B the bullet damage is more reliable for me. In TDM I killed 7 players with one clip and their HP avg 56-100. Do anyone think the hit detection could better? or do the hit detection rely on players ping and fps?
Thanks

Name a competitive player with good aim that doesn't use type A.
Including all chinese team in cfs.
I can't name any competitive players...
I use type C simply because I'm used to it. I've been playing with type C for more than 4 years straight. -

This game actually provides crosshairs you know, no need for DIY.quickscope90 wrote: »The easiest thing to do is to join a solo game and find where your cross-hair centers at. Once you find the center take a small piece of tape and place it right in the center, but keep it small enough so it won't interfere with your game play.
I've used blue C (if C is the circle) for maaany years. It's nice. -
It depends on a few things but different crosshairs are better suited for different guns.
Type A,B: Suited for guns which have a small spray pattern and for mid-long range guns(best example is primarily AK users). Typically used by professionals because it provides pin-point accuracy for headshots.
Type C: Suited for guns with a slighly larger spray patterns, but faster rof(rate of fire). This is best used for M4 users as it gives you a general idea of the spray pattern which cannot be seen as clearly in type A,B crosshair.
I prefer to use type C only because the crosshair doesn't change significantly as i shoot and move and it has more to do with it being a psychological thing. All differences are really small in any case. -
I started with type C but my friend told me A was better and to set the color to yellow. I now, after getting use to it, beleive that this is the best possible combination.
the type a has no dot in the middle which can block what your aiming at and it is easier to see the amount of recoil you currently have with the type a as it expands bigger and more accurately to the recoil.
Also i find type c very hard to use with shotguns, A works much better.
HOWEVER i would agree that type a is better suited for an ak. If you are very accurate, never spray, and use m4 THEN use type c -
Dear AnsonC,
I have searched the entire forums for your request. I found About 13,000 results (0.27 seconds) It turns out that the results are quite close.
5,001 use type A (38.46923076923077xx % )
4,999 use type B (38.45384615384616 xx % )
3,000 use type C (23.076923076923077 x % )
I have also used some advanced parameters on your search according to my results which are made separately for each crosshair.
[TYPE A]- 59 % of players who use this crosshair have come from a game called "CS".
- 31 % of players who use this crosshair play with an Avtomat Kalashnikova.
- 10 % of players who use this crosshair recently switched from type C.
[TYPE B]- 20 % of players who use this crosshair are more likley to headshot.
- 60 % of the players who use this prefer it over type A because of the "dot".
- 20 % of players who use this crosshair are people who complain.
[TYPE C]- 10 % of the people who use this crosshair are known to have fantastic aim
- 50 % of the players who use this crosshair keep changing from type A to C.
- 20 % of the players who use this are more intellectual than type B users.
- 20 % of the players who use this crosshair are more likely to die first in all types of game modes.

Dear lMADlxYz,
One thing useful about a robot like myself is i can process information so fast and get immediate results with the questions you provide me. According to my scan on various .REZ files I have some results my algorithm that image searches for crosshair like pictures; well in this case ".DTX".
According to my calculations RF002.REZ represents crosshair models. Please do not tamper with these files this may lead to a ban. -

Fam0us cheats,remember  -
Dear lMADlxYz,
As a robot I do not understand the irony you are trying to show within your post. However I can tell you modifying the .REZ files in a way is hacking the game, and modifying original data. .REZ modifications are probably the worst type of hacks although they are not for public use and only 2 people who I have known actually have something as powerful as that. It can allow you to give knife infinity damage without a client error.
I would love to hear your life story but unfortunately that would derail this thread. I believe the hack feature you are referring to is known as ESP, in other words radar hack. Who needs features like this when you are a robot. I already have a built in aimbot (artificial aim) this is one of the perks of being a robot.
