I greet thread flame #1. Let me clarify:
Not hard to code compared to coding the other parts of the game. Did not imply I was good at coding. I'm a B.A. degree in Biology graduated from UC Berkeley in 2007. Currently an entrepeneur heading 2 businesses. If you're the eagle I often see in West Coast Servers, you need to know this:
You're not good. No offense. =] -

kool, im a working on my B.S. in biology, am premed. gonna transfer to CAL next quarter, but yea i like to see that function inplemented in the game too. brings in a more competive gaming experience. on a side note, i heard UC Berkeley has like 10 libraries........wow we only have 1......gay -

idiot..... noob...... not a noob in the game, but a noob in LIFE....... have you ever heard of the term "general education". often referred to as G.E. requirements in college. this is when you have to take classes outside your major to satisfy degree requirements. im a bio major too and i took economics, sociology, program design classes.... none of those have to do with the human body........ get off of crossfire and experience life, then come back to crossfire and play when you get stressout

3) Did you ask that question without thinking for a second there? Let me lay out the logic step by step:
- I implied that my major (and my post-HS education) does NOT enable me to code programs/games.
- I was implying you asking me to code the function is a knee-jerk reactionary flame and quite.... lame lol.

CONGRATS! The school is good but the surrounding community is bad, so be on your guard. Yeah there's alot of libraries but they're specialized. The 2 biggest ones are connected underground.. as a transfer make sure you don't get lost, not kidding. -

Are you a complete moron or what? The Dev's get paid and that's their job to update and mantain the game, it's not like he just invented this either. They gave us a teaser and he's wondering if they'll ever actually follow through on their "this feature is not yet available".

No, This would not be hard to code...
The system for "requests" already exists (Applying for a Clan).
Simply create a new field 'Time to Scrim'.
If (LT or clan Leader agrees){
Tell opponent clan that match request has been accepted
GenRandomServer(){
$result = Blah blah blah, choose random server;
return $result;
};
echo GenRandomServer();
} {
Tell opponent clan match request was denied
}
etc..............
But.... I'm not on the z8 team... I'm sure they are busy... -
