Hi, i've always played crossfire on my pc but now it doesn't start. I click the icon and then ''start game''. Gameguard image appearse and also its icon but then doesn't happen anything... i've tried to reinstall twice and during installation appeared that some files were being used by other programs (???), so click on retry and they continued. - Try to use something like Ccleaner to get rid of all old Crossfire files before your trying to install Crossfire again.
- Try to download the game by using another Mirror (e.g. like Torrent, Alternative Downloads)
- Make sure, you got the actual Graphic and directx drivers installed
- Ensure, that the following files are allowed to connect to the Internet through your firewall and wont get stoped by your Anti-Virus Program: Crossfire.exe, Gameguard.des, Gameguard.mon
- Use the patcher_cf.exe to update your Game(guard) manually
If these solutions dont work, feel free to contact the Support: http://support.z8games.com/webform.aspx -

when you click start game, and after game guard pops up, does your screen go black?
if so, im having the same problem. -

If not, download the newest setup of Crossfire from the website and install it from there.
i've tried also deleting ALL crossfire's folder: gameguard automatically patch, and ok... it starts (gameguard, not crossfire), there is also its icon... but then nothing... i've left the pc for one hour to see if it was simply very slow because all pc functions begin to be very slow, like when i was playing with crossfire (i've forgotten this particular, sorry)
i've tried every mirror to download the installer but nothing... help

i've tried this mirror, and there weren't problems during installations but I still have the problem: click on start game, patch of crossfire and gameguard and then nothing... no black screen, only the pc becomes very slow as if it were working, but doesn't appear the crossfire's window (i've left the pc for 1 hour and nothing).

Ensure, that Crossfire.exe, Gameguard.mon and Gameguard.des got full access through your Firewall and that your Antivirus Program wont block these files.i've tried this mirror, and there weren't problems during installations but I still have the problem: click on start game, patch of crossfire and gameguard and then nothing... no black screen, only the pc becomes very slow as if it were working, but doesn't appear the crossfire's window (i've left the pc for 1 hour and nothing).

Ok for crossfire.exe is it the file that has a blank white screen symbol on it and words crossfire.(Sorry just making sure not so good with computer stuff.) And I have gameguard.des but not Gameguard.mon. Is there a way for a seperate download for gameguard.mon or something? Also I checked and apparently I do have "Antiprotection" in my security center but do not know how I can shut if off any suggestions?
