crossfire error

i start crossfire and it gets thru xtrap good. once the client pops up i get a little box that pops up with it that says "crossfire error" and has an option to send report on it.

it doesnt say anything but that. i downloaded WoW a week ago and since then cf stopped working. i dont know if WoW did something to make it stop. i dont see how it could. but does anybody know how to fix this?

    If you tried to reinstall it and it still didn't work, then you need to find the app that corrupted the game and delete it. If that didn't work, get a copy of the whole game file from a TRUSTED friend.

    the app that corrupted it is world of warcraft. but i dont understand how it corrupted another games files. and i really dont have anybody to get the files from :/

    I noticed when installing other games that require .net frameworks/microsoft c++ updates they tend to cause problems for crossfire and league of legends, either my fps goes to crap or my ping spikes or crashes/clients start happening frequently.

    my little brothers laptop ran 60-80 fps when he first got it after he updated it he now gets 8-20 fps on crossfire which is why he quit playing cause its unplayable on his pc.
