Black screen when game is starting to load

well i installed that new patch thing and noe when i click on the crossfire game it shows that game guard thing and then black screen comes and then my computer restarts >.<.......

anyone noe y if soo plz help me..............

What OS are you runing? XP, Vista, Windows 7?

I used to have the issue on my girls laptop and am using it. It has fixed the issue for me. Good luck bud

Delete your Gameguard folder in your Crossfire Directory. It will automatically beeing repatched when your starting your Game. If it doesnt work, you'll need to redownload the Game setup by using the Mirrors of the website or if these Mirrors doesnt work for ya, you can try this Mirror.

your using xp. are you using service pack 1 or service pack 2? i was using service pack 1 when i reinstalled windows, and it wouldnt let me play (same thing you have)

if your using SP1, get service pack 2, and wallah. if your using 2, check for updates/newer drivers

How much is your RAM and what graphics card are you using? Your CPU too. Can you run better games?

Aprox total memory:128.0 MB

this is a laptop and i have been playin for a while but i stop and then started again i download that new patch thing and then it stoped workin and i play Combat Arms if that helps
