[solution] windows 8/8.1 x-trap error

After the new patch "shadow mode", alot of players, including myself, that are using windows 8/8.1 get X-Trap error whilst trying to log in. For some reason X-Trap thinks the new update is cheat program so it closes crossfire. The solution is to simply un-install the update and go to the previous mode. This does NOT affect your computer in any way. I have done this myself along with many others.

The way to do this:

1. Control panel
2. Search "window's update"
3. Update history
4. Installed update
5. Expand "Microsoft window's"
6. Un-install (3-4) most recent update's windows had installed. Should be dated 08/04/14 - 12/04/14
