I start the game up, log in and everything, and when I join a game it closes on me saying that it cannot find the rez/shader/legacyshader.fxo

I reinstalled the game like 4 times already and still nothing has changed, also i tried downloading this file separately and it still doesn't work.... Please help me

I suppose you have bitdefender antivirus. I had the same prob b4. Go to the antivirus settings. Close "Active Virus Control". It acts like a 3rd program so it is blocking the connection or something.

I have a Norton Internet

and I tried disabling that and it still didnt work..

Alright. None of you guys are right. This deals with the .dat in your documents> Cross Fire folder. Message me. Ign: [gastersky] and make sure to have teamviewer. I will be glad to fix this problem for all of you.

Is video card the same?
May be video driver problem (shader version). Try to reinstall. Try to update DirectX too.

guys I get a xtrap error I did the new update and when it goes to xtrap it loads step 1 and 2 then on step 3 it says:
Code field 10-0300-800C0008-104
the access to xtrap patch server is unstable or xtrap update wasn't able to run properly. Please, Restart game..
I have tried to restart the game please help me!

And I tried downloading that and it really didn't do much for me.... I mean I have it in the folder sitting there but I deleted it in the original folder but then I replaced it with a new one and I still received the same problem
