Major problem!!!!

Hi, I am using Windows Vista 16-bit home basic with 1 gig ram 100mb of memory allotted for video, a Intel Pentium 4 ht processor, and the latest DirectX, and like after every one or two MAYBE three or four games, Crossfire will exit on its own, and not give me my GP and EXP. I was wondering what I could do about this, or what you guys can do. PLEASE HELP. this started a few patches ago, because I used to be able to play for a long time with no issues.
