That may be so but im guessing he'd rather have a gun than blow his GP on crates and probably not win anything.

Get the AK47, XM8 or M60 mate.

The AK47 is by far the best rifle available. It's very accurate and massively powerful. It’s brilliant at long range and close range as well. The recoil takes a little getting used to, but once you've mastered it you'll be absolutely dominating.

The XM8 is a really good gun. If I can't get the AK47 in EM matches I'll always run for the XM8. Good accuracy, good power and a really nice spray pattern. This is a bit of a good all-rounder.

The M60 is the funniest gun in Crossfire! You can’t beat joining a team deathmatch game and dominating the other players with it. It really annoys people. It's more fun than a bucket of soapy frogs!

To summarise:
Buy the AK47 and don't look back! You’ll be seriously disappointed with the M4A1 once you’re an AK-MEISTER!

AK47 over any gun. I think its essential for everyone to have a scarl for when they start lagging in performance,but then the rest of the time have actual fun and own with ak47. Its the best gun if used properly by far,and can own in any mode(try it in gm especially,completely blows people away). If you start doing bad at first don't give up on it and keep practising-the work will pay off.

-m4a1 is not that good you will regret it
-k2 I have it it's awesome but isnt worth it if you already have scar light they are simular
-Type 89 exelent rifle but if you arent spop you will have a enorm arm (it's a glitch)
-M60 aswell (will be good if we finally have zombie mode)
-Black market is not good idea (I got with 68k gp a deagle camo) but you will not win many people put hudge amounts of gp in and get nothing lol. I dont remember how but I remember I read sowemore that a MOD had spent 2million gp to finaly get a price xD.

Or keep your gp to buy the next new gp gun never know^^.

Hate p228 cheap but crrap, cheap gun that is good is the colt but if you want to buy a new pistol take anaconda it's really good

Mp5 is not that good, MP5-adv rules, same for halloween. But mp5 really not enough bullets.

I would suggest the AK47 or M4. If you wanna go on a different route, buy the AUG (I mean hs machine) for more defensive play.

Don't bother buying another main gun, because you're probably not looking for one. I, for one, have almost all the main guns in the game, or had them, and the popular ones such as the AK, M4, k2, etc. are all good, but you already have a main assault rifle, so don't bother with another. It's not needed, because the ScarL is a fantastic gun, anyways. My suggestion would be to buy a secondary for your ScarL bag (obviously, I mean the Deagle or anaconda, your choice). Aaaand... this is a suggestion that will probably be flamed, but, I would sell all your nades except for the normal, good ol' frags. I say this because flashes, in competative and most of the time in pubs, don't serve a practical purpose other then ****ing off your teammates and getting spray-killed by your opponent. Now, smoke grenades are really really a waste of money. Some people would say their good in GM for spotting out ghosts, but 90% of the time, if you hear a ghost and take out your grenade to find them, they attack you, and you have to wait that precious 0.7 seconds (which is a lot of time in a fast paced game like GM) to switch to your main/secondary and kill them. And if you're playing against pro ghosts, you won't even get the chance to throw anything.
