Hit detection is Off!?

Any time i shoot someone 8/10 times unless they are 2 inches away i will be dead on accuracy and my shots will miss. I get it tap and shoot but it shouldn't be tap and shoot just to hit someone even if I control the recoil perfect and everything my shots miss. I think you should fix this because i been trying to figure out a way to get used to this game's hit detection and boxes and how to shoot whats the best way but its the detection.
