Attn Saiden re: Ur post on 1-14-14
GM Saiden I read a post of urs explaining who z8 ,g4box, smilegate, xtrap and etc are.Great post. The post was mainly addressing h.a.ks.1 Thing that caught my attn was the fact that u guys do manual bans ( mods, gms, etc in-game).Alot of the games that have had cheat/h.a.aks problems have had a decent sucess doing this.My question is can u increase the amount of mods.gms, or whoever u put in charge to manually monitor these h.a.ks in-game.I play 8 hrs a day/7days a week and i have never seen one.Maybe ur hiding incogneto.Anyway i think it would be a great suscess if u guys increased the number of people MANULLY banning ha.k.s in game until x-trap is more sucessful.

They don't ban hackers manually. They can do that but HWG is the program that ban hackers[GM]Saidin wrote: »G4Box in conjunction with Smilegate also has contracted with a company called Wiselogic who makes X-Trap. http://www.wiselogic.co.kr/
X-Trap is a client side anti cheat solution which prevents known hacks from entering into the game.
X-Trap can also force a kick out of the game if it detects a hack that is being run after the game starts.
X-trap updates between 3 and 5 times every 7 days. On average it updates once every 48 hours.
X-Trap does not have some sort of "vip level of service" that we're not paying for. We have a contract with X-Trap that has the features of X-Trap applied for CrossFire and for our game. It has nothing to do with some sort of conspiracy of X-Trap having special treatment for something.
HGW is a server side game watcher developed by Smilegate. HGW is the main add-on issuing game kicks and bans.
HGW gets updated every 24 hours with hacks submitted by our team (and all the other CrossFire teams around the world). This system is the system that is doing all the automatic banning.
In addition, we are working with Smilegate on HGW to improve the response time and turnaround time for updates.
Automatic banning is set to prevent mass loss of users due to false detections. We do not want to all of a sudden implement an update that causes 95% of the population to be banned.
We have game data, x-trap kicks, hgw bans, reports, and playing which suggest a general % of the population hacking. It's lower than what everyone assumes and higher than it has been in the past. We are highly aware of that situation. We're also working with the resources stated above to improve those systems.
For example, the latest X-Trap update (which came today) changes how we will be preventing some hacks from entering into the game. The update has been pushed live and we now monitor the results for effectiveness. Then report those results back to Wiselogic and work with them on the next implementation.
So where do we stand?
1) We are aware of the situation.
2) There are internal things going on here which we cannot discuss about the best options to improve the situation (beyond relying on X-Trap updates etc).
3) We have a solution to the reporting problem which we should see be ready for testing in a couple of weeks. Though this schedule is not final.
4) HGW and X-trap update constantly and are constantly in communication with us for updates and to relay the game status to them.
5) We continue to go in game and kick hackers manually and ban permanently for reports we see and handle.
6) HGW is banning a lot of people already.
Hopefully some of these points can help further the understanding. -

Yes they do. But its not their job.
They can but theyre not always available to.
Not to mention the sheer amount of rooms in the game making it impossible to patrol -
Dear [F]LuiD,
Firstly I understand your frustration, although a Robot like me cannot feel emotions. You have to understand Z8games is working hard to eliminate cheaters.
The user Giggletron is correct. The Game Managers of Cross Fire (GMs) can issue bans and kicks from the server if a player is deemed cheating. However normal Moderators have no actual power in-game at this time. It is very rare that they are doing this on their GM accounts, they have undercover accounts. -
5) We continue to go in game and kick hackers manually and ban permanently
maybe im readin this wrong but he did say manual bans lol
Yes i understand this is a big task. but as a single person I could ban over 150 OBVIOUS speeders in a day and thats a damn good start.U have to start somewhere.I love this game and i personally think in-order to save this game we have to get aggresive w/ these ha.ks.As far as Mods not havin the power to ban..if its something so obvious as a speeder (the most obvious cheat) give them the damn power to ban these cheats>.ITS obvious they are cheatning why continue to ignore it?? EMPOWER the mods or whoever u want get a force going to deal with this infeastion -

Yes I forgot to say that sometimes they can ban hackers manually. My bad. -
And btw as u all have seen...a mod can enter almost any single room and find a h.a.k to ban.seriously its that bad,so once again a team of manual banners could make a huge dent in this problem.ANYTHING is better then nothing. Thanks for the support saiden

PS: last but not least i guarnetee there would be alot more zp purchases going on when we elimanate
these h.aks, which means more money for g4,z8,etc -
-
Also i bet once the genral population sees the bans happining for h.ak.s alot will un-install thier ha.ks knowing their r gonna get banned.PLease make a move and lets get rid of these ha.ks.Also with manual banners kikn speeders which is obvious it will make a BIG dent in the ha.ks which most of have 5 to 10 accts. So 50,000 ha,kers are only 5000 peeps
