Crossfire lag

I have noticed that over the last two days , and now today , Crossfire is lagging in the night and my ping is like 70-100 over the normal ping...this also happens to other people. I am just wondering what's causing this? because we lag for a few hours (like right now -.-) and then it goes back to normal. Please help. Thanks
