New computer (for CF)

Hey guys im lookin at this computer for CS 1.6 and CF ONLY! so remember its for low graphic games. here it is

. tell me what you think and if i could run CF on it with good FPS.

My integrated chip is a bit weaker than the one that comes with that, so your going to get around 30-35 FPS in an 8v8 in CF.

If you plan to upgrade, you will have to end up having to pay for more power supply (and of course a graphics card). Processor is fine.

Honestly, it will get you along fine after a video card update (as said above)

HOWEVER!

I suggest waiting until boxing day. You will thank me

-.- i get like 30-50 in a 8v8 on my laptop with everything turned down. so do you think its worth it or no?

i just cant walk into bestbu anymore and buy one bc of windows 7 :'(

Odd..i currently have 2.2Ghz Athlon64 [Single core] overclocked to 2.71 Ghz

a 350 Watt powersupply

1GB ram running at 333 mhz that's 166 DDR1

2 160gb PATA 133 drives

XP PRO

my video is a ATI VisionTek x1600xt 256mb ddr3 @ 1.38ghz and core at 590, and yet i get 150~300 FPS in high graphics + 1024x768 res,is this right?lol

Motherboard is like 8 years old.. K8T800-A7A

Looks good, but even if it's for just CF and CS 1.6, you might want to spend a little extra for a better card. Somewhere in either the 8000 Nvidia series.

i have a ninida geforce 9400 and it only cost like $69.00.
so thats not too bad unless you have no way to make money

it plays ok just occasionaly i freeze up n get like 1 fps?
but it goes bak up. i run any where between 20-120 fps just depends

yep.

i was torn between 1 295 or 2 285's, in the end i chose 2 285's for my new comp.

its gonna cost me about $5.2k nzd for the whole comp but will wait till christmas before i get it delivered so i can see if they will discount some of the sht im getting lol.
