Cannot Load Into the Game

Every time I try to launch CrossFire, I get this error message. I've only started seeing this today and nothing has changed since yesterday.

I have the exact same error. I just happened today. I went as far as deleting CF and reinstalling it. Still same issue. Disabled antivirus software. Still same issue. I'm stumped.

two days now I can't sign in either

I'm not too fond of being shot through the wall in spawn on the Christmas Em map

so no big deal , I can do without.

OK, I fixed my problem.

The tool name at the bottom of the Xtrap error window will have a show .dll file. When I deleted my file, which was Vacard.dll, from my system drive, CF started up no problem. However, be careful of the file you delete, it maybe needed somewhere else. In my case, it was some old virtual audio .dll files that wasn't being used anymore and somehow got corrupted and effected the game startup. I would Google the potential file that is causing the problem to see what it is. If needed, just download that latest .dll file and delete the old one.
