FPS spike issue?

Does anyone know how to fix it? every like two-three minutes, my screen will freeze for half a second to at most, a second. It hasn't happened until a few months ago. I have an hd radeon 7870, I usually go at 120-200 fps, then all of a sudden, freeze for a second, oh hey, I'm dead.
I tried, reinstalling the game, reinstalling drivers, rolling back drivers, updating drivers to the newest (they always are in the first place) and reinstalling windows. Driving my crazy, every other game works with flying colors.
