Crossfire Patcher V6

I click start game on Crossfire, and it won't load up the patcher, I hit ctrl+alt+del to view the tasks in the task messenger and its there, but it doesn't show. I reinstalled the game many times, and restarted my computer many times. How can I get the patcher to work cause whenever I click on crossfire again it says "Patcher is still running"

Is there a fix or solution to this, please help me.
