Crossfire versus bitdefender.

Seriously. I have got three pc's with bitdefender now. It is the best anitvirus out there so I wonder why this game won't let me use it. I never had problems with my past antiviruses.

I come to the very last 10% to get ingame after pressing join match. THEN, suddenly this appears. Can't find shader file. It is there and I have no idea why this is happening. I have reinstalled the game 4 times now and even without antivirus on. It is not working.

I even added crossfire to the firewall. This is annoying as fudge.

You sure its the AV? I'll download it later and test, if it keeps removing the shader file you can find it in

crossfire\\rez\\shader

Do you get to play any matches before it closes? or does it close as soon as you go into the game, if the file is missing download it.

EDIT: I see what you mean, at loading screen it goes black then the crosffire client moves to the top left of the screen and crashes out.

It is a brand new pc. It worked before. It is the same on my old pc which had cf running for 3 years b4 that.
On this pc it does not let me play 1 match. On the old one it works sometimes if i restart the pc once or twice. legacyshader.fxo is the file but it is there.

My pc is quite fast with a 6 core i7 3930k
I only see the blackscreen then it closes. Nothing on the top left.

Yeah I know, I just downloaded the AV myself. It's causing a crash for me too.

Maybe its the only antivirus finding that file as suspicious?

I'ts just crap development within , its all bodged , and the engine is like a counterfit beta cs
why bother when theres BOGHOST , BF4 ,

Because I am actually good at this game. Even if I have got quad sli gtx 690 gpus I cant play either one of those games even decently. + cf got higher requirements than css. I have got 350fps on my bad pc in css and only 220 here.
