I need help

I tried to install the game 2x and everytime i press start game...it says run-time error 5: Invalid procedure call or arguement??????????????????????????????
I really wanna play this plz PLEASE HELP

ensure, that you uninstalled Crossfire completly from your Computer, then try to download it by another mirror (torrent?) and install it again.
If your using Vista, make sure, your doing that Installation (and later the gamestart) as Administrator, otherwise your Crossfire might bring some strange Errors.
