Alt + Tab error?

Everytime I alt-tab while in a game it crashes my Crossfire, therefore I can't change music while in a game. Anyone know how to fix?

Do not quite understand your question from what I understand
When you are playing and you want to go to the desktop I recommend you do
ctrl + esc.

Yeah when you press alt+tab it switches windows. But when I do it while in-game, it gives me an error, letting me press send or close. Then closes CrossFire.

ahh I also understand
What I do is put my desktop resolution is 800x600 I use to play crossfire and when to get back into the game does not give me errors.

So change crossfire resoultion to 800x600 ? That'll take time getting used to though

Your problem also might not have good video card and the computer that costs you return to the game screen.
Surely that's the problem you have.

This happens to everyone that I know, I really wish they would fix this issue because it bugs a lot of players.

As of right now I don't think there is a fix although it is quite annoying.

Oh alright, thanks guys! And yeah, changing the resolution did nothing but I crash on the first time, I always keep my lobby on full screen though.

I have the same problem on Windows 8, while on Windows 7 works perfect. I got used to it.

This happens on occasion to me. I think it depends on how many processes and applications you are running in the background of CF. For changing music, rarely happens to me. I also noticed if you constantly are alt tabbing, it seems to happen after alt tabbing multiple times. Hope that helps!

Happens to me and everyone I know as well.

The only solution for me is to wait until I'm in the lobby to alt tab, which sucks.

Yeah that's what I've been doing, Z8 should really look into this. It's quite annoying. Especially when I accidentally alt+tab in a clan war. When I play them.

This should be fixed by 2017, so no big deal.
