Problem with my Ping...

Guys i need your help, after my ping was 144~160, but now it's bigger 300~600, what happened? My internet is 2mb and i use Alpha, Bravo and Delta servers. (I'm from Brazil, i don't know it's a problem with my router or the internet?) Please Help me guys!

After this all, on Sunday (29/09/13) i with no internet connection, then when is was Monday (30/09/13), the guy of the company go to my house to fix the problem, then they change some things of the router, then the guys say they changed DNS number (a thing like that)!

When your DNS gets changed, it takes awhile for the connections to stabilize for a bit. It's normal for your internet to start lagging and such. Give it a few days. If it still happens after a week, check to make sure you're not downloading anything. If you're not, call your ISP again to get it re-checked.

Thanks, i view if i'm downloading anything, but no, i will wait a week, and view if the ping come back normal, i think it's getting more low, yesterday it was 330~350, today is 300. I think u are right, thanks

2 mb means 2 mega bits = 0.25 MB = 250 KB / second
2 MB means 2 mega bytes = 16 mb = 2000 KB / second

there is a huge diference between those two units (usually all internet providers use mb not MB to measure speed internet connection)

ISP measures in megabits. And MB and mb isn't used as a rate for speed. You have to actually type it out fully. Confusion will occur using them abbreviated.

Test

The location of servers change. Now my ping reduce from 180 to 80.
Try test with another servers.
Another test is using CMD with command TRACERT (ip or domain)
1-200 MB not better the PING
The hops from your ISP to the SERVERS reflect your PING.

Im on a 40MB connection down 15MB up and my ping is 220, but im from new zealand so server far away lol.

It is not only with you friend But with many Latin Americans and Brazilians, here in this with the same problem and this happened when this update came [http://crossfire.z8games.com/Patches/JulyUpdate2013/Achievements.aspx], Since then my ping was between 200-220, so far I'm waiting for the GM's will do about this.

Yeahh, my ping is back again, i wait 3 days, and now it's 150~159
