Cannot play the game anymore.
I have a decent internet connection (Comcast blast 50mbps) and I live in Manassas, VA which should be okay when playing in NA servers, however, that is not the case.
About a year ago my internet was at the same speed with the same ISP but my ping was around 40-50 stable, but now its chaotically going up and down (even up to a thousand sometimes) every few seconds, I have formatted my computer more than once, re-downloaded the game several times but nothing has changed (I install the game before any other software to make sure that nothing is conflicting with the game).
I had already quit playing the game for a while, but now I am trying to play the game again but obviously with this problem at hand I cannot even play MM.
Other games I play from time to time have no problems what so ever, so I don't think it sounds rational if I looked for a different provider just to play the game.
Do you think that there is anything I can miraculously do and address this problem? Or perhaps the NA servers have relocated or changed something that made it impossible for me to play anymore?

The servers were updated and a bit of latency issues occurred. Almost everyone's ping increased. Your Anti-Virus/FireWall may be blocking some inbound/outbound connections. Also, 50mbps is just packet sending. Don't really need that high of bandwidth to get a low ping. Though, it's good for downloading. Close any third-party programs that are eating your bandwidth and/or limiting it. If you're running wireless, and on a desktop, try to get an external adapter. Internal WLan Adapters aren't exactly as strong as you think.

What I did was that after formatting the computer, I updated the device drivers and installed CF without any AV installed, and disabled firewall; but the problem persisted so it has to be something between the ISP and the server. I also tried resetting the modem thinking that it might help out, but as everything else I tried, it didn't really stabilize the ping. What I haven't tried is calling my ISP and letting them know that I can't play one game because of their service, but you can imagine what their response is going to be. -

Their response would be of Z8's server's fault. Only way to get a technician out is to say that you are having latency problems that only occur at xx time. Since you did do a clean format, there is one thing you can do since it was reset. Go into your device manager and find your network adapter. Click on it and go to your advanced tab. If there is IEEE Adhoc support of something similiar, make sure that is turned on. As well as Gaming Enviroment enabled as well. The option where it has the word "radio", do NOT touch that. Turning that off turns off wi-fi(if you're actually running through a wi-fi connection). This secures that less packets are lost during receiving and transmitting. If it's not a factory adapter(Did not come with system at purchase) then go to the manufacturer's website(Of the adapter) and download any drivers/programs it offers. If you're still experiencing some latency issues, close the game and go to your Task Manager. Go to Networking tab and at the bottom of the window it should have your adapter/SSID listed. If there is a percent higher than zero, then it means something is using bandwidth. Now keep in mind, anything like 2% or 5%, it still takes up bandwidth. If you're running on a A/B/G network adapter, I suggest upgrading to a N adapter. Same with the router. N is the fastest connection currently since it supports a 5Ghz bandwidth. -
Make sure nothing is being updated on your pc Anti Virus / Windows, etc ...
I'm sure you did that already, try this in cmd.
Post Screen shot here after it's done.
Start >> CMD >> Type "tracert yahoo.com"
Waiting for you.

I can't see the IEEE anywhere in my device manager for some reason, I am trying a driver updater (called SlimDrivers) for one unknown device that windows cannot find the driver for and also trying to update the rest, but I doubt it will have anything to do with the lagging problem, I will try to see if there's any device related issue I can check since you brought that up. Thanks. -

The IEEE option is located in the Advanced tab of the network adapter. It may be there, it may be not. It's usually for WLan adapters.
