Failed to connect to host...

i keep getting the error Failed to connect to host and even got it when i was the host.... i get it at least 10 times aday..... its been happening since the end of Aug. Anyone eles get it? and is there anyway to fix it?

Failed to connect to host server. If you begin to start spiking a lot, your connection gets dropped eventually if it keeps rising.
