Big Game Hunter Ribbon details

Attention Soldiers.

We have received some questions from users regarding the Big Game Hunter ribbon.

From the FAQ on the original Shotgun Week post.

4) The current list of permanent shotguns does NOT include the Winchester (or scope) or the Dual Double Barrel. Those are not classified as shotguns in game, one is a rifle the other is a pistol.

The Winchester shows up as an image on a shotgun only map loading screen. This is just an image. We are working with the developers to remove it from that loading screen.

The Dual Double Barrel has a tag in game "shotgun", but as you all know you can only equip it as a Pistol. It's a shotgun looking weapon, but functions as a pistol in game.

We're working with the developers to change this, but it's not an immediate priority.


Once again we would like to remind players that Ribbons are created by us, and are not directly involved with the game, we need to manually create them, track them and adjust them. We want to provide these awesome things to you, but sometimes they come with quirks because we do not develop the game directly.

We are working with the developers to eliminate these confusions. But in the mean time, the Big Game Hunter ribbon does NOT count the 2 Winchester items (and soon to be 3 with the Golden Winchester) and the Dual Double Barrel.

Also note that the ribbon does not count duplicates.
