How to play on 800x600 resolution

Hi started this topic cuse I WANTED to play on 800x600 for better Fps, so I go on settings and set to resolution(800x600) but when I start playing it goes to 1240x800 automatically
if any1 know a solution to play at that resolution please say anything btw i'm using windows 7 x64

did you change your native windows resolution or your cf ingame resolution

if it was your windows one then lel

I use to play Crossfire b4 on 800x600 stop play for 1-2 months then I went play again and 800x600 didn't work any more.
I know how to change resolution if it is what ur trying to say
