xTrap error

So I get stuck when xtrap loads and it shows this message,

"The access to xtrap patch server is unstable or xtrap update wasn't able to run properly. please restart the game"

Any help I get would be appreciated.

First off, try disabling your firewall and antivirus before running CrossFire. Then see if that solves your problem.

If that doesn't work try reformatting your PC. Re-installing CF won't work for the tip.

Disabling my firewall didn't do it, and I definitely wont re install because the moment I uninstall, I'm done with the game.

Problem Solved by deleting Xtrap folder then running CF.
