Mumble is a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) which is a program in which you can communicate with your fellow clanmates and is needed for things such as clan wars and scrims.
Mic is simply a shortened version of the word 'microphone'. This is not needed, but very useful to have in a case that involves you to call a specific damage or location of the enemy team in a clan war or even in more casual cases such as to hang out and be a part of the fun in mumble. -
